Bringing all of this together in a way that really minimises and streamlines the maintenance of the flipped classroom requires a good platform for publishing the videos. I mentioned in my last post that CrazyForEducation seems like a versatile option.
I have since discovered Sophia.org - see video above for a brief introduction - and it seems like an easy to use, well-established platform, which has been adopted by a large number of teachers (mainly in the United States, I think). I get the impression that, on it, there is a vibrant community of mainly high school and college educators working on creating engaging content for their classes.
I have experimented with it to create tutorials for my classes, and so far it has been easy to use, both for me and for my students. A really cool bonus is that, on it, there are numerous tutorials on how to integrate technology in the classroom, and how to combine the use of Sophia with other, much-loved tech gems like Google Drive to produce really interactive, engaging tutorials.
